ABOUT THE OWNERS:
I Paint for Joy opened in October 2006, and is owned and by Joy Hartman. Joy is personally running the studio (you can find her there day and night), but of course, Joy has lots of help from her family! Co-owners are her husband Rob, and their two beautiful daughters Amanda and Emma. When you visit I Paint for Joy, it will soon be clear to you that it's actually Emma and Amanda that run the place! The Hartman's are longtime residents of Nevada and are active in the community they love. Joy, who was raised in central Utah with her 4 sisters, moved to Nevada about 13 years ago. Rob has lived in Carson City since the early 1980's, and graduated from Carson High before joining the U.S. Marine Corps. After retiring, Rob returned to Nevada where he met Joy. They were soon married and starting their family....and the rest is history!
