How much does this cost and are there "hidden" charges?

We charge a studio fee which is a flat rate of $7 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. There is NO time limit - you can paint as long as you like and as many peices as you want, all for the one low daily studio fee. Your studio fee also includes everything from paint and supplies to glazing and firing! Then, you simply pay the price marked on the unpainted clay piece you choose. There are no other fees or charges!

Will my piece be dishwasher & food safe?

YES! All of our functional pieces are food-safe and liquid-safe. They can be put in the dishwasher on the top shelf. However, just like any other one-of-a-kind masterpeice, treat it with care. We do not recommend microwave use.

How long does it take?

An average size piece takes about an hour to paint; although there is no time limit. You may want to allow additional time for selecting your piece and socializing if you come with friends! If you do not finish in one sitting, you can bring you unfinished piece home with you and come back and finish another time - for free (as long as you only paint that unfinished piece).

What ages is this for?

All ages are welcome. We can do footprints of babies or handprints of great-grandma - the whole family will love I Paint for Joy!

None! Our dedicated staff will show you step-by-step how to dream-up a unique piece created by you!
